wswanderersfc Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 mate it had nothing to do with you i was just pointing out it was a coincidence that the avatar was angrily facing the words he wrote
wilsonpastore Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 no other two suburbs would have sounded as smooth as fairfield to liverpoollllll
wswanderersfc Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Just clarify a few things for me. I'm not on Facebook or twitter. Is the whinging coming from social media? Or are people reading the comments surrounding the hills been taken as criticism towards the chant? Because it is in my opinion the whinging will cease once it's been belted out at Parramatta. I have a good feeling about this chant, I can already sense the passion. everywhere on this forum on the official rbb fb page (not sure about twitter dont have it) but generally that is what i ahve notcied happen they all comment on the youtube upload when they dont realise that everything changes when its live and there are 2000+ supporters belting it out.
stavup Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 mate it had nothing to do with you i was just pointing out it was a coincidence that the avatar was angrily facing the words he wrote At least own it man... Anyway, enough of this garbage..pointless I said I liked the chant..I will sing the **** out of any chant...except **** the Victory to the wrong team..Perhaps that what you and #facepalm boy were highlighting.. No more from me today, free to carry on patting each other on the back...
NickNova Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 For what it's worth from someone who helped with supporting this chant. There are chants that I personally hate but I have to sing and play to them as well. This one has potential to be f***ing epic. When you can do the lyrics with the right note and tone it is magic. By the way it was originally written as "Penrith to Liverpool" so there's a change in that sense. People complaining about the suburbs... for f**** sake get over it, get over the speed, get over the delivery of the chant and learn it so we can try it and see how it goes.
Balkanite Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I love it, not because it has my suburb in it, but simply because it is WSW all over. To anyone complaining about the suburbs, there are greater issues in the world you should be complaining about.

Yes, why is there not a verse pertaining to social exclusion in Sydney's West, and the plight of refugees that call West Sydney home...Also global warming could be incorporated as well as the GFC **** effort if you ask me...
karimu Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 what about doonie YOU CANT FORGET DOONIE! F THIS CHANT! ARGGGGHHHHHH jokes just learn the damn chant
markitfc Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I don't live in any of these places I live in little old Winmalee in the lower mountains but guess what I will be singing this chant why because when we all do it will sound great and its something new and it's supposed to unite us all.
Wobblies Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I refuse to sing or chant this song or chant unless it includes my 2 favourite suburbs in Sydney Rooty Hill and Bobbin Head (even if it is in EFC land) ps what's the difference between a song and a chant anyway......Chant brings back some bad religious memories.
DomJ Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 trying to find words that rhyme... West Sydney Through & Throughhhh Wandering Here With Youuuu Red & Black Forever Trueeee /facepalm.
Makedonche Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 If youse are talking about mansions, there are some big wog mansions in the leafy suburbs of Condell Park and souf Bankstown Bernie Ibini lives in Condell Park like 3 doors down from me. The irony of living in the West and playing for the East Ron Corry also lives in CP. Some random facts for you
hawks2767 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 What's his address mate, i'll take a dump in his letterbox.
Makedonche Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 What's his address mate, i'll take a dump in his letterbox. It`s on the cards if he does anything that pisses me me off when they verse us next !!
hawks2767 Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 He's already made the 'Sydney is sky blue comments' man he's done enough !
Malone Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Quality chant, can already picture it with the sway. Kudos to whoever created it
Delije Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Good chant I'm confident it will stick. My opinion on mentioning suburbs etc in an anthem...there are Wanderers supporters spread all across Australia, Canberra & Wolongong to name a couple places. When belting out an anthem with pride at full voice about suburbs people don't live in or live near by comes across a little strange to these supporters. Belting out words about the clubs name and the team is not. Liverpool FC's anthem is sung world wide that their supporters connect with, it has no mention of the region it comes from but allows a world wide audience to sing it with pride regardless of which corner in the world they are watching.
102megan Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Good chant I'm confident it will stick. What are you basing that on??
stavup Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Good chant I'm confident it will stick. What are you basing that on?? Careful, you will be in the dog house with me..
AEK Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 To anyone complaining about the suburbs, there are greater issues in the world you should be complaining about. Yes, like that stupid new parking in Wetherill Park Stocklands next to Rashays and the bank, that should be only 1 hour parking, not unlimited
