Prydzopolis Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Can see his fitness getting better again tonight, same game time but he had a lot more energy & made a superb impact on the game (not just his goal). Would love to see him after two months of proper training with the boys & possibly dropping a few kgs too could be phenomenal how good of a player he could be for us! Would have liked him to play the 90, but the last thing we need is another injury to a player who hasn't played many matches in the last 1 1/2 seasons. Great signs! shacols 1
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 id like to see him slot into CDM alongside mateo or larocca with bridge as the #10. could be the mooy replacement we've lacked this season.

He had a quiet start against the Mariners but hit the ground running last night. We must make his move permanent.
Gazmon Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 His first touch was good last night, something lacking from many of our other players (why do our forwards have the touch of a centre-back?). Think he could be great once he gets a little fitter, not as creative as what Saba intents to be, but he seems fairly reliable at the moment. Mozzberg 1
hawks2767 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I like him, the passion after he scored that goal has been missing - watch him against City when he has revenge burning, he's going to tear them apart. DinoPresinger 1
KGee Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 He must like it playing in front of a crowd for a change. theguyyouwishyouwere 1

tardotz Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Injury replacement contract ended as Santa is back. I hope he stays on, and is slotted back in.
shacols Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 With Takahaji now in the A league squad. Can we keep Kalmar in the ACL squad for the mean time?
Sime11 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 would have been nice for him to score against City
Burztur Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Hope he sticks around and doesn't go to the Thai league or something... He's been great value. pseudonym 1
mack Posted February 1, 2015 Author Posted February 1, 2015 Since he and Santa are playing against City it looks like he's been promoted to the full squad.
Prydzopolis Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) Since he and Santa are playing against City it looks like he's been promoted to the full squad. I'd say that Baccus has been signed to the first team, but as he is injured Kalmar is coming in as an injury replacement. Edited February 1, 2015 by Prydzopolis

flukey Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 He is definitely not a defensive midfielder. Likes to hold onto the ball for tonight and his ball placement is shocking. Him playing a wingers role or up front is alright because if he loses the ball we still hAve plenty of players behind him to cover his mistakes Prydzopolis 1
Unlimited Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I think Popa was going for the one defencive midfielder and then one deep lying playmaker (Kalmar). theguyyouwishyouwere and Prydzopolis 2
