ydoow Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) the 'somethings you don't turn your back on' tifo was better imo It was a 2 part tifo, which made it genius. Part 1. massive banner saying "some things you don't turn your back on" Part 2. turn your back and walk out on your team a few weeks later LOL Just like you guys did a few weeks after we did and not show up, its funny your lot ripped into us for it and then do it yourselves. I may be mistaken, but when did the rbb not show up to a game? not chanting =/= walking out.... Edited March 11, 2014 by ydoow Erdz and Neverbloom 2

UltrasRBB Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 The talk up for the tifo was to ensure we had the bay full to pull it off. would of been highly embarrassing if we didn't have 3 full bays i think standing in the cove is embarrassment enough. Burgerman, dcrow, Erdz and 1 other 4

No, we actually agreed and could understand the heavy handed tactics by management in their attempt to censor you warranted some sort of action. Then whenever we feel the need to make a stand, you always claim we're in the wrong. Ask djpain, and he should be able to verify that I defended the Cove's actions in another forum. You now get mocked for it because you don't realise the irony of saying "hurr durr RBB is all about themselves and trying to run the club".
NickNova Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 We were there last Sunday. We were seated. We did not walk out.I'm sure the next time ESFC lose it will be back to #FarinaOut jocosmic 1
Guest Southy Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Djpain is my mate. I do agree there is a few that understood our stance, though there's many on here that would take a small pot shot for the sake of slagging the cove. We were there last Sunday. We were seated. We did not walk out. I'm sure the next time ESFC lose it will be back to #FarinaOut Its still FarinaOut, no change there/ the RBB were there but they just were not chanting the cove actually turned their back on their team and left for the carpark to chant farina out So your crowd of 12k included the RBB really ?
BigDukes Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 correct it did include the RBB. Many check out the pics..capos were there sitting down with the rest and a number of people sat on the hill. a lot of people on the outer bays did not show up cause of the weather. some things u dont turn your back on eh? walks out on team...does the poznan to take the piss out of us turning our backs on our team. I do agree there is a few that understood our stance, though there's many on here that would take a small pot shot for the sake of slagging the cove. Many took pot shots because of you guys yapping on for a whole year how you'd never have a protest. You tried to bag us for standing up for basic supporter rights, whilst you then went and protested because you didn't like the coach. When it escalated to the thing about censoring, most acknowledged that it was wrong of management to do that. Once all that was over, one of your newer capos deluded you all into thinking you somehow any of our protests are "garbage" whilst yours were all for noble causes. See here; Basically, if you weren't so hypocritical, you'd probably have more empathy from other supporters. Instead, you think your **** doesn't stink and this is an attitude that permeates into management. Your board is nothing more than a microcosm of your entire club (supporter base and players). Guest Southy Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 We don't pretend to know all the in's and out's of your protest. I know a bit more but hardly denounced it anywhere. also the mention of the RBB in pauly's statement ? No. the NTC protests have been so frequent and often they hold little to no impact at all. correct it did include the RBB. "....or fight for our freedom to rip flares or any of that garbage" If that's not a (very thinly) veiled pot shot at the RBB, I don't know what is. "LOL still want farina out".... Any self respecting fan would, to be honest. The fact is..... we, as in the RBB, the cove, the ntc all have all had our own VALID reasons to protest. We can all sit here and snigger and mock over the internet, or we can recognise that a UNITED effort will need to be made in the very near future if we want active support to exist in the country. *Drops mic* (P.S. I haven't slept in about 2 weeks.... drank a **** load of red bull- with jager- at a buck's party. Took me two days to get rid of the shakes and the heart palpitations. ydoow Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 One thing people really need to get past is if a supporter makes a comment that they do not necessarily represent the collective thoughts and opinions of the club/fans/rbb/cove... too often do I see blanket statements like "you guys said this and then did that - HYPOCRITE HYPOCRITE HYPOCRITE!!!!" The concept of terrace union was mentioned several times over, does it happen No. Should I be supporting your protests ? Not sure I'll go with no and focus on my own issues.
Zelinsky Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I guess that means we're now a two man team. Improvement. did ADP even play? He did. He is the guy who was lying on his stomach and back a lot. The gale force winds inside the ground swept him off his feet a lot. Or it was me, watching him so closely that he lost his balance, and kept falling over. Erdz, theguyyouwishyouwere and Neverbloom 3
BigDukes Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 dont get me wrong if our capo or his wife were ejected if **** walk out as well and i would expect the same from everyone else. the overlying issue we can agree on is we can protest about our rights as fans..people will say stop whinging and just sing for the team but how can we when that is exactly what we are trying to do (taking the illegal **** aside). hawks2767 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 So what happened to this capo who walked out anyway, was he there Saturday night ? Not looking to be smart, genuinely want to know how that story ended. DontCallMeJacko 1
JamCal Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Final clarification on an earlier topic: The guy they pulled out of the march at Central was thought by many originally to be the wrong guy. He wasn't arrested. The police let him go. He was at the game. Accusations such as those and describing a person who got taken out is a dangerous step and should probably be avoided. Especially considering he was released. Hopefully people don't read your description and take it to heart if they see the guy. Chaopescado, theguyyouwishyouwere, Neverbloom and 2 others 5

AEK Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 the coves capo is called Slow? I think that is his last name or something like that, I think it's slowey, not sure, maybe the SFC fans can shed some light on it...
coolhwip Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Is this guy a real person or just a collection of things I hate about the western suburbs? I'm worried I might have imagined him.

To be honest you see people like that all over Sydney. Isn't it it hip these days to have tatts all over your body? A guy like that could live in Bondi and no one would look twice.
