March from the Woolie at what time....

Well it's 1,634 km (261 hours) from the Woolie to Kingston, Tas...

But sadly that 261 hours = almost 11 days... I think we're going to miss the start of the game... :(

Hey Anyone coming down, we are looking to head up Mount Wellington for a group photo Sunday Morning at 10 am before heading to the game, you would need to leave your hotel by 9:30 to make it up, you can drive to the top, we will grab a group pic, with scarves, flags and banner up high with Hobart in the back ground.

let us know if your there and will want to be apart of it,

cheers See you in Tassie. #TassieIsRedAndBlack

I walked in on the tail end of a discussion on local ABC Radio Launceston this morning and I think they mentioned that Peter Newlands will be broadcasting from the game on Sunday afternoon.  I'll keep an ear out for more details but it will be great if we can listen to a broadcast of the game on the net.  Not as good as vision but better than nothing if it is correct.

Just boarded plane for Tassie wearing kit and straight up first comment was "who do we sing for"

Guess the locals know us.

That was me! LOL! And the guys meeting you saw me getting off the plane (I had my scarf on by then!) and gave me a cheer. Incidently, I don't have tickets yet (taking my brother and his wife) and the ground has NO GRANDSTAND. Hope we can get tix at the gate. Here's a local quote:

"The Twin Ovals do not have a grandstand, but Boulous said work with the council would see temporary seating and marquees set up around the ground.

"We'll configure the ground so that it is friendly to where people will be sitting along the major hill area so that it creates a decent atmosphere and a good vantage," he said.

Boulous was hoping for a crowd of about 6000-8000, with tickets to go on sale on August 7."

Melb Vic B team are playing Tasmania at noon as a curtain raiser!
