Hilarious to see Wanderers fans defending people's rights to be racist.

I eagerly await your glowing tributes to Kevin Sheedy and Andrew Bolt in tifo form.

If you've been reading the thread you would have seen no one is defending Santalab or his alleged actions. We are only discussing the ramifications that affect our club

I will admit I am defending what Santa said that it wasn't racist. You can read my arguments above but I don't consider what was said you ******* arab Muslim **** to be racist. Maybe if said something in reference to religion or race specifically but calling someone a c*** is not racist.

Like if I called scouseroar a f****** Australian atheist c*** sure you would be offended someone called you a c*** but is it racist too? I think this whole politically correct thing is crap and we are taking things too far.

Don't get me wrong if he insulted his religion or race in anyway, racism that's not right but what's next calling someone an idot or muppet or clown will be outlawed too?? 5 match ban??

Some words carry more baggage than others. They might be simple descriptors but the overtone when shouting abuse is very different.

It's still Santas word vs Abbas. Neither is an angel.

Hilarious to see you thinking that Wanderers fans assuming someone is innocent until proven guilty is the same as Wanderers fans defending people's right to be racist.

Racism should be legal. I say this without qualification or apology.

Well you would be happy with the plans of the current federal government.

I am.

It requires qualification for me to agree with you. I'll never request an apology form the ****-throwing monkey man though.

I eagerly await your quotes of all the Wanderers fans defending people's rights to be racist....

Judging by the generalisations - the Wanderers are a club full of club turn cloak ESFC fans who are all lebos and are now defending Santalab for being racist to muslims. Am I missing anything?

Habibi ole ole ole !

How many murders have the FFA investigated?

Currently still investigating wtf is happening at Perth?

Suspect No.1 for the brutal stab in back of ex-Socceroo Allie Edwards...

The FFA, WA Police and Referees Association advise do not approach the subject as he may be wearing studs and be looking to deliver a sliding tackle. He is often seen in the company of fellow Perth based underworld identities Willie The Frog and this heinous flasher who hangs around nib Stadium boasting about the size of his reproductive organs...

Anyone with information as to these miscreants whereabouts can call Tony Sage for a very small reward on 1-800-No-Glory

The independent FFA Disciplinary Committee today handed down its determination in the matter involving an incident arising out of the Sydney FC v Western Sydney Wanderers match on Saturday 8 March 2014.

The Disciplinary Committee consisting of John Marshall SC (Chair), Lachlan Gyles SC and Dominic Longo had been convened to hear an allegation of racial and/or ethnic abuse against Wanderers player Brendon Santalab following a complaint by Sydney FC player Ali Abbas.

The Committee dealt with matter over two lengthy hearings and reserved its determination.

The Committee has determined the following:

1. That Brendon Santalab accepted that Ali Abbas genuinely believed that the offensive word had been used and did not challenge the fact that Ali Abbas believed he had been the subject of racial abuse.
2. The credit of Ali Abbas was not under challenge.
3. Having regard to the circumstances surrounding the incident particularly the undisputed high noise levels and in the absence of other eyewitness or corroborative evidence, it was possible that Ali Abbas may have misheard what was said by Brendon Santalab.
4. Therefore the Committee was not satisfied to the necessary standard of proof that the offending words were used by Brendon Santalab and dismissed the matter.

hahaha.. nice..

Well given that's now the final official decision, I expect there'll be a few apologies made for slurring his impeccable reputation...

or not...
