Question, if I'm purchasing 5 tickets between 3 members tomorrow can I enter the 3 ticket codes to buy them together? Could anyone do that for the semi? I didn't need to then is all.

I believe you just have to put the 3 passwords in and it will give you 5 seats together.

On the Ticketek website, you presumably put the 3 passwords in all together into the field asking for your code, then you go to the next page to select the category and the number of tickets you want (5 in this case).

So my question is: How do u enter the 3 codes? ie: What do u put between them? - spaces, commas, carriege returns or is it just one continuous stream of characters?

I'm asking coz i'm in a similar situation to Gazmon.

If someone knows the answer based on how they did it before the semi, pls let us know - thx.

Lol @ some of the non-member bandwagoners on my facebook feed who plan to go to the grand final.. "hey guys, lets go to the grand final, we'll get cat b tickets since they're cheaper!"... little do they know Cat B tickets will probably all get sold out by Tuesday & they will be forced to buy overpriced Cat A's...

There are more Category A seats than ever before.  Someone's trying to cash in big time.

Category A is no guarantee of a good seat at this event.

FFA - doing it for the true supporters of the game!   Anyone got any lubricant?

To me $120 is what I would expect to pay for a GF ticket (and there are $55 tickets which are obscenely cheap). This is the biggest game of the year, to expect a ticket for $30 would be ridiculous.

I don't see why you would have a problem with the FFA making money out of this. They need the revenue and making it on the GF is far better than them taking cash off every registered player in the country.

You are certainly right about the FFA and the way they take money off the registered players.  I would have thought that for the GF, it would be more important to have a full house than to skin supporters and leave a bad taste in people's mouths.   If you want a good seat, then that's fine, you pay for it.  What I don't get is how all of a sudden most of the seats (that were previously not Cat A seats for most events) become good (read expensive) seats.

To most individuals, $120 might be no big deal, but to some others, like those with family commitments, then $215 or $285 for a family ticket (plus the other costs of the day), is a massive deal.

What I don't get is where the FFA's money goes, especially given how little we see of their spending at the grassroots level.  We even have to pay to do coaching courses that they run, so that we can then in turn coach teams for no payment whatsoever.  Tell me what the FFA have done for your local club other than provide it with a huge invoice at the start of every season.

Yet, (on top of taxing every player) it collects from FIFA, the Federal Government, the A-League and all the Socceroos associated income.  Worst still are the multi millionaire players who demand payment from the FFA to play for their country and have a hissy fit when they think it is not enough.  So indirectly, some of our rego money goes to them.  Yeah, I'm ecstatic when I read stuff like that.   And then you have pricks like Lucas Neill come back and play for $10,000 per game and call it "giving back to the football community".  I don't begrudge anyone an income but FFS don't feed me crap like that.

BTW- has anyone ever been able to find a copy of FNSW's or the FFA's profit and loss statements so that we are able to analyse exactly where our part of the contribution ends up.

Can you also explain to me how the equivalent semi final ticket in a restricted stadium (capacity wise) is worth less than half the grand final ticket, as compared to an event where a sell out is far from being a certainty.   I sincerely hope that I am wrong on the sell out front.

You use the enter button, to bring it to the next line in the box.

For Member sales, I do not think RBB Active bays will be sell out in this period.

There are only 7000 memberships and more everyone sit in the RBB Active.

However, definitely during the FootballFamily pre-sale period the next day. That'll be the battle for best seat.

I'm probably the only one who is happy with the 2 ticket member rule I'm so sick of flogs asking me to get them tickets for the grand final after not wanting to come to a game all season I honestly would rather go by myself and stand shoulder to shoulder with another die hard wanderer I don't know then next to my euro snob friends who wanted nothing to do with wsw.

This especially!

Suddenly the people who've been bagging out the A-league & never wanted to come previously to a game start asking me if they can buy them tickets to the grand final... the typical "hey can you buy me tickets, I'll pay you back". Uhh no, I'm going to buy tickets for myself & my usual pack & you're going to scavenge what's left during the public sale!

I have mates like this always wanting me to get them tickets and I generally find they are the type that need their dicks held for them while they take a piss in life in general. All GF tickets I get will be for family

Boban I'm not going to get into a debate about how and where the FFA spends and makes its money. Too long a conversation and we would probably agree it could be done a whole lot better.

The cat A seats are all front rows along the sideline or second tier around the halfway mark. That to me is where the best tickets should be. Once again there is cat C family tickets for $140. As I said this is the landmark event of the Aleague season, hence the price. I am surprised you can get tickets for as cheap as you can. I think this will sell out without fail. I am interested if there is anyone who isn't going to attend because of the price?

Probably more applicable to this thread than where I first posted it

As an aside. The SFS holds 45k. Of that, 7k is reserved for SCG trust members (not sure on this exact number, it is the entire top tier of one of the grandstands, have seen it quoted at 6800 in an article today). Meaning the actual capacity for the GF is around the 38k mark. Given that there are 7k WSW members and 3400 CCM members (http://www.ccmariner...berships.com.au), if you allowed every member to buy 4 tickets that would mean 41600 tickets. Meaning you could have the situation where someone who actually holds a membership misses out on a ticket altogether. Unlikely but possible. That is why you can only buy 2 tickets per membership

I think it will be interesting how tickets sales go. I am thinking it will sellout quite quickly but wouldn't be suprised to see Cat A tickets avaialble still after the initial rush. I like others believe the ticket price is fair yet at the same time think 100 bucks is a lot for some people, I just think there should be 2 or 4 more bays for CatB.

Worth noting that you can buy 2 tickets tomorrow and then use the same password to buy 4 more Tuesday .

Which goes to show how effing stupid it all is. Why not let us buy 4-6 off the bat, football family members have the opportunity to have more tickets in their hand come Tuesday morning than some of us do, and how convenient was it that all the tickets started appearing on eBay right after the football family sale last time

agree....shoul;d have been reversed , members 4 , MFF 2 , and if tickets all go today , then at least we know they have gone to family and friennds who have the games and the clubs best interest at heart...i can see tomorrow  being awash with tickets on ebay as every cat and his dog registers for MFF..

i have a membership , but was thinking of bringing the family to GF day , so i too will possibly risk going into tuedays draw unless i can get access to a membership someone may not use.....

In regards to RBB restricted view - it is indeed because of the mini grnadstands. They have poles to hold them up which cn impede your view. Also, they have to label them restricted bcoz if a ball is kicked really high you cant see it in the air coz of the stand above you.

BUt 100% will do the job if you end up there.

I'll be online at 9am on the dot tomorrow for my $30 RBB ticket - i love being a uni student!

The whole point of the two ticket limit is so that all members can get the seats they want. If you want to buy tickets for non-members you can do that tomorrow. Don't see what the issue is.

Hey people, I am a football family member when I am able to get the tickets on Tuesday I want to get the Category C reserved seating. do you think I will be able to get a ticket in that category or will the members take it all? Also, do you think it's worth paying more so i don't get a restricted view or should I jus pay less and let my view become restricted. because I'm going to be standing up the whole match unless people behind me ask me to sit down,

It's more funnerer to have a whinge!!!!

Just ask me as I about to hand over $1000 to the FFA.

if wsw members could buy 4 tickets each this morning - 4 x 7000 = 28000 plus what ever the mariners grab and dont forget all the corporate members there could be a situation where members miss out on their preferred seat.

This method is fair to members. I can't see there being many cat B or C left on Wednesday.

I like a few on here will be logged on to tiketek tomoro morning to try and score and active ticket.
