Casper Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 This kid was very impressive tonight, what a game!
KGee Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 He's pretty young isn't he! Date Of Birth: 03 March 2013
Casper Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 He's pretty young isn't he! Date Of Birth: 03 March 2013 He's pretty young isn't he! Date Of Birth: 03 March 2013 Bahahaha, didn't even notice!
Boban Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 That was him tonight! The kid has a bright future as he did not look out of place. The writing was always on the wall though as he was signed up for the Wanderers before he was even born. Let's just call him Johnny!
Burztur Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Yianni did really well tonight. As mentioned - not out of place at all. Best of luck to him.
Jukes01 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 He looks like a top prospect, definitely looked comfortable on the ball. Not out of place at all.
Neverbloom Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 what number was he? a few non regulars tonight
Neverbloom Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Number 24 I believe. thank you i remember seeing 24 and thinking he was a great player
GunnerWanderer Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 gave lots of energy to midfield and kept it simple. nice one for the future.
102megan Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 (edited) Brilliant to see another local in the team too!! Keen to see how he goes in the future - best of luck to him! Edited March 29, 2013 by 102megan EmMac 1
GD07 Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Had a pretty good game. Would have been nervous but slotted in well. May have jumped above trifiro in the pecking order? Only bad thing, his set pieces weren't that great.
MCHammer Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 yer he kinda floated his set pieces a bit. having said that theres a couple of regulars above him who would be taking set pieces anyway. Great debut though one for the future indeed
ManfredSchaefer Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Loved his overall efforts yesterday and can foresee him having a huge future. When you see the likes of him and from other clubs the likes of Pain, Franjic and Gameiro you feel a little less disconcerted about our national team football future
JamCal Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I've officially decided to head the Yianni Perkatis fan club/bandwagon. Yianni for WC 2014.
Montalbano Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 This kid has everything going for him. Excellent technique, vision and composure. Played in a big game and didn't look out of place. Will play a lot of first team football next season in my opinion.
wswnick Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I wouldn't be surprised if he takes Trifiro's spot on the bench.
wswfc Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 He was great, slotted in perfectly. Look forward to seeing more of him next season!
yttam95 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 He didn't even have a name on his jersey Saw this and had a laugh. Didn't matter in the end, because he had a top game! Saw that he wasn't reluctant to rough it out against an angry heskey as he took him on. It's good to know we have depth like this.
pseudonym Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Parramatta Library posted the following tweet @parralibrary: This Monday 3:30-4:30pm - Wanderers star Yianni Perkatis will be talking books and football.
wanderersfanatic Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 What happened to this young player? He played really well against Newcastle last season.. I don't think he's had any pre-season game time.
GD07 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Ridiculous he hasn't been given a go this season. I'd have him on the bench over trifiro.
