btron3000 Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 If Dimas goes anywhere near a dead ball when Shannon is on the field, I swear I'll jump the fence. tardotz, Smoggy, Prydzopolis and 1 other 4

Burgerman Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Should be picked ahead of Lustica and will offer more than him, come on Popa pick him to play already. Erebus 1
TehSmileyBandit Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Should be picked ahead of Lustica and will offer more than him, come on Popa pick him to play already. Nope. Lustica is a definite Shannon upgrade. Better dribbler, more spacially aware, hits a dead-ball just as well and is stronger on the ball. Prydzopolis 1

Lustica might be better on the ball than shannon - but shannon is a far better wide player. Lustica needs to be central imo. Carns, Prydzopolis and Swanderer 3

Shannon's movement and energy create space for his teammates, especially late in the game. Lustica is solid. I can see the argument for starting Lustica ahead of Shannon, but if neither of them start and you have a central midfielder on the bench I think Shannon has more value when the opposition is tiring. GunnerWanderer Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Until Lustica scores a derby free kicks or in a knockout Acl game and flips on a broken wrist he can polish Cole's boots! btron3000, Burgerman, theguyyouwishyouwere and 6 others 9

BloodyIrishman Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 After Saturday we need this guy on the pitch desperately. Since Topor has gone we have no leadership and the back and for my money this guy has it in spades. Match fitness might be a problem but 2 or 3 substitute appearances will sort that out. btron3000 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Also, he can't be worse than Hamill at RB. And he takes a better dead ball than Dimas. Prydzopolis and theguyyouwishyouwere 2

mack Posted February 20, 2017 Author Posted February 20, 2017 I was watching the derby pre-game and noticed that in the locker room shot he dressed to play. Looks like he might have been the spare man. Smoggy 1
Pup55 Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 (edited) He's been in the "17" for about the last 6 weeks. Either as an unused sub, or the extra guy who warms up with the team. Wouldn't be surprised to see him start tomorrow night! Edited February 20, 2017 by Pup55 Zelinsky, mack and Smoggy 3

To get play or coach? After the ACL his time with us was characterized by continuous injury issues. I wonder if he has taken a year or so (18 months) to get his body right to play again? 34 is a strange age to give overseas a go. When people talk about the leadership team, he might not have been front & center but was a part of the heart & soul of the club. Edinburgh and sonar 2

He was terribly out of form before he left, and the final season was an injury similar to Bridge. First 2 seasons he was fantastic but then dropped off.
