mack Posted October 27, 2012 Author Posted October 27, 2012 While everyone was talking about Joey Gibbs being on debut, Trifiro also made his debut after coming on as a sub in the second half of the match against the Roar. Did a good job for his short stint.
moxey25 Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 While everyone was talking about Joey Gibbs being on debut, Trifiro also made his debut after coming on as a sub in the second half of the match against the Roar. Did a good job for his short stint. I agree, His first bit of A-League football and he did very well for the time he was on. Fantastic to see!
DeeDee Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Agreed. His little spell calmed my fears of ever loosing Ono or Mooy to injury. He will be a great option to freshn our midfield late in games.
CaptGrumpy Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 We can't be too far from losing Mooy for a match due to yellow cards.
Pup55 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 thought he was outstanding in the trials. will be good back up to Mooy and Ono all season
BeefB Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Love to see him play vs Perth and go up against a former State team mate in Scotty Jamieson. As A/C for NSW back in '04 I thought these two were amongst our best. I was so happy for him to finally get a A-League gig! A more than capable substitute midfielder! Go Tricky!
MCHammer Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 really capable player. played very well against parramatta fc and again in his short stint against Brisbane. will be valuable when injuries and suspensions occur
stewballs Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Pleasantly suprised with him. Very neat and tidy on ball. A good pick up. Sorta reminds me of Murdocca at Roar??
DeeDee Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 Very tidy player, very happy on how he is inducting himself into the a-league. Not sure if id compare him with Murdocca, hes full of running and explosive pace. Trifiro is just graceful on the ball and in midfield.
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 i was very impressed. maybe he could get some more game time with hersi out for two weeks?
MCHammer Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Doubt it. More of a replacement for when mooy or Ono is injured/suspended
GD07 Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Loves his baggy shorts, doesn't he. Or does he just have short legs.
SDIAKRBB Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Very tidy player, very happy on how he is inducting himself into the a-league. Trifiro is just graceful on the ball and in midfield. He definitely plays the role of an impact player well, bringing energy to an often flatter second half. i don,t think I've seen a bad game from the kid yet.
Super Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 one of the highlights of the pre-season was the link up with Jason and Aaron. I thought this combination had some real potential.
Super Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Played well in D3. Was one of the better players for WSW IMO.
Sime11 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 with Shinji out, he may be in the squad for the rest of the season.
mack Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 He was always going to be one of the 5 man bench for finals anyway.
Haydzp14 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Credit to Jason, he can i only get better from here (i think)!Mooy coming in next week should help him alot
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 So glad he has re-signed. its the dino-esque haircut isn't it
TehSmileyBandit Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Even Fox Sports are against poor Jason... mack, Burgerman, theguyyouwishyouwere and 6 others 9
zola Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Terrible player. Bewildering confidence trick by him to get into any A-League squad.
Unlimited Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 not sure if srs His stint at CAM was... very poor, but he plays better in the CDM role - unfortunately there's tons of talent at our club for such a position so he doesn't get much of a look in. Nathg and DontCallMeJacko 2
mack Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 If Barresi & Perkatis can get fit and stay fit he might leave for another club, we're using too many squad spots on midfielders, unless we don't replace Ono with another midfielder should Ono leave.
zola Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 He does everything in one speed; tortoise. Has a nice touch, but seldom if ever seen him play anything more than a standard ball. No physical presence whatsoever, bundled off the ball time and again. Movement is poor and laboured, he is often caught in possession, which, coupled with his aforementioned qualities, renders him a nothing prospect. We are better served by playing youth rather than this hack. His performance against CC at home last season was up there as the worst I've seen from a footballer. The improvement in our play when he got sent off was a sight to behold. No redeeming characteristics whatsoever.
Unlimited Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 That was like a year ago! He could've changed for the better since then. Pygmalion effect.
zola Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 That was like a year ago! He could've changed for the better since then. Pygmalion effect. No. Terrible is as terrible does. Dreadful at MV the other week.
