btron3000 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Foxtel peeps, looks like Huddersfield v Liverpool will be on the Liverpool channel at 5pm and 11pm if you wanna check out Mooy. Prydzopolis 1
Case Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 It was on this morning and only caught about 20 mins of the first half as I had my breakfast. Mooy looked calm and played well. From the 20 mins I saw, I was waiting for him to flick the switch and go 100% tho. Will record the full match when it's re-shown tonight. Prydzopolis 1
SBW Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Those LFCTV commentators have no clue about us Prydzopolis, Alexander and MartinTyler 3
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 we are the only reason this idiot has a career thats not true. we are the only reason this guy has a good career Prydzopolis and wendybr 2
TehSmileyBandit Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 we are the only reason this idiot has a career Mooy's an idiot and Kerem's the Messiah? That's quality analysis once again, Goat. Alexander, Prydzopolis and GunnerWanderer 3
Paul01 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Without his years with us, Mooy may or may not have progressed. Most likely he always had the skill but needed the discipline required by Popa. I noticed he still disappeared at times for Manchester City last season. This won't be tolerated in EPL just like Popa hates it.
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 didn't see him once at manchester city last season, and i reckon you won't see him in the EPL this season either. Prydzopolis and MartinTyler 2
Carns Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 He already had the technical skills required before he joined WSW, it was tactics and work ethic that he gained from WSW and Heart/City. You could see from the minute he played that he had the goods, he just had to harness it. wendybr and Prydzopolis 2
btron3000 Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 He got an article in the FIFA email newsletter thing. Unusual for an Aussie. Still not sure how I got signed up to that thing. Prydzopolis 1
luisenrique Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 He got an article in the FIFA email newsletter thing. Unusual for an Aussie. Still not sure how I got signed up to that thing. I believe we were signed up to it when we signed up to buy world cup tickets. Prydzopolis 1
lloydy136 Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Motm in win over brentford. Alexander and Prydzopolis 2
GunnerWanderer Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 WOW yes Lloyd growing praise it would seem. http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2016/08/07/mooy-stars-huddersfield-win-opening-match Prydzopolis and Alexander 2
Alexander Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Great news. Hopefully he gets his big move next year. Me thinks Man City are going to make a handsome profit with his sale Portillo and Prydzopolis 2
Neverbloom Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 ''But the Wanderers had a lot of faith in me and I want to repay that. It's special to be a part of it.''
btron3000 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Made team of the week: http://www.efl.com/news/article/2016/sky-bet-efl-team-of-the-week-3233413.aspx Midfielder: Aaron Mooy (Hudderfield Town) Much has been made of the 'Wagner Revolution' after a busy summer at the John Smith's Stadium, and a trio of Terriers were touted for selection on social media. Rajiv Van La Parra and Jack Payne both impressed, but we can only pick one – and we've gone for Aaron Mooy. The Manchester City loanee bossed the midfield as Huddersfield ran out 2-1 winners over Brentford GunnerWanderer, Portillo, wendybr and 1 other 4
lloydy136 Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Getting big praise again for role in win over Newcastle. His stay at Huddersfield could end up being a short one I think. Prydzopolis, Smoggy and wendybr 3
MartinTyler Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Getting big praise again for role in win over Newcastle. His stay at Huddersfield could end up being a short one I think. I actually read a report of the Newcastle game and he didn't get a mention !!
toonarmy Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 he had a blinder ... Got 50-60 touches, always smart in his distribution, in their top 2-3 players in the park DontCallMeJacko, Prydzopolis and wendybr 3
toonarmy Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 via Daniel garb: From @guardian_sport on Newcastle: 'They were second best to a Huddersfield side for whom Aaron Mooy excelled.' @Socceroos star, MOTM again. Prydzopolis and wendybr 2
Prydzopolis Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Getting big praise again for role in win over Newcastle. His stay at Huddersfield could end up being a short one I think. Loan is for a year, I heard a Huddersfield fan say that the only shame is that there is no way he would be staying at the club beyond the end of the season.
Paul01 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Mooy couldn't engineer a win or even a first half lead against Aston Villa! Not sure if he was asleep. Wonder if he was shown up or was it his team mates?
DontCallMeJacko Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 "Pasty Pirlo" seems to be going around facebook a bit. He was terrific against Newcastle. Seems to have taken his game to another level. Again. Prydzopolis and Portillo 2
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 "Pasty Pirlo" seems to be going around facebook a bit. He was terrific against Newcastle. Seems to have taken his game to another level. Again. I'm sure the eurosnobs might disagree, but maybe, just maybe - the best a-league players can cut it in europe rather well. Case, Prydzopolis and wswanderersfc 3
wswanderersfc Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 viduka/kewel/cahill...is this the mooy era, to soon i know but you cant fault the kid 3 games there raving reports of performance, mannnn i want to see him in the PL ASAP. theguyyouwishyouwere 1

First test against near EPL so the jury is still out. Lets see how he goes in the FA Cup against EPL opposition
wswanderersfc Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 i checked his stats and he had something like 45 passes forward 80% passing accuracy abut something i notice ont eh negative side he only had 1 of 11 duels won so seems he struggled a bit with the physicality and dont get me wrong im not saying he is the next big thing but he has the potential from the last three games to make a real name for himself in the uk Prydzopolis 1
Carns Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 He's also completed more passes than anyone else in The Championship (177/202) and made the most tackles (11). Prydzopolis and wswanderersfc 2
theguyyouwishyouwere Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) He's also completed more passes than anyone else in The Championship (177/202) and made the most tackles (11). he really carried that melbourne city team, and now doing the same for Huddersfield - no wonder city are looking to offload Yaya.
