MartinTyler Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 That's a lot of money to go on loan to Bolton..... Close. Huddersfield. Lol. Interesting move. He should get plenty of game time in an unpredictable outfit. Only downside is that their pitch tends to get wrecked by the Rugby League team. Prydzopolis 1

Gazmon Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Ahhhh great to see 2 Aussies at my original club (before I followed Villa... I follow both Town and Villa, haven't been in the same division since I've followed either of them though). My old man was with the club in the 60s and early 70s, and he was best mates with a former chairmen. Got to do a tour of the stadium (private tour too!) and dressing rooms, etc. when I was over there many years ago. Alexander and Prydzopolis 2
Zelinsky Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Mooy on $4million a year now with Man City Just to make sure that I get this right: he'll be based in a town which is half the size of Newcastle in the Hunter, will spend at least 10 months in an area which is twice as cold as Tasmania, will play in a ground which is smaller than aami park, and will play in a league where the opposition is going to kick the living daylight out of him? I think 4 mio per year sounds just about right then. Smoggy, Prydzopolis and MartinTyler 3

Designer was the same as Stadium Australia - as you can tell by the arches. The old ground, Leeds Road is a shopping centre now. Prydzopolis 1

Hell of a lot better than playing for a big club where you make the newspaper because you had tomato sauce on your halal snack pack instead of BBQ. stavup Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 She needs some El Jannah garlic sauce. Or some Charcoal kingdom chicken from Rockdale. BTW some great Balkan food in Rockdale. Back on Topic, I think Mooy is good enough for run on side, as he showed against England... Neverbloom and Prydzopolis 2

Huddersfield isn't all that bad surely lol Ok so it isn't all that good........ but if he puts in a good shift they will love him..... or want to kill him..... never much in-between with those West Yorkshire lot. Nice stadium they have though. He will get to experience Huddersfield v Leeds, which to everyone means a Yorkshire derby... apart from Leeds fans that is that don't rate anyone outside of Man United a rivalry lol Good luck to him.... but I think he might struggle in the Championship, one of the toughest divisions in world football. lloydy136 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Lol @ boro with his obligatory Leeds dig. It's not a bad club for mooy to land at - although they just barely survived relegation last season. He is a cut above who they had in midfield last year from what I saw. I think from memory Jason Davidson is still there too. They are definitely NOT a Leeds rival though - just another on the list of tin potters who wish they were. wswanderersfc, Alexander, Prydzopolis and 2 others 5

They believe that their only rival is Man U..... because Man U still sing songs about them every now and again I don't think they even see fellow Yorkies Hull City as a rival, and certainly not Middlesbrough. It is perhaps that Leeds fans think that if they admit the likes of Huddersfield, Sheff Weds and Barnsley and so on are rivals that they will accept how far they have fallen?
