I haven't seen the result of this, but hopefully the boys have done well. I just read the write-up from the Adelaide vs Jets NYL game. Adelaide fielded 7 first grade players (including van Dijk, Caravella, Golec, John McKain, etc) and the Jets fielded 6 first grade players (including Pepper, Mitch Cooper, Marko Jesic, James Brown, Taylor Regan etc).

Wondering how many of our first grade players are getting valuable match practice and game time in the NYL when they're not in the first team line-up?

So, if our boys do get good results against other clubs, good on them - this gives us a pretty good idea of what they're up against and how other clubs are viewing the role of their NYL teams.
