I think they were hoping  Wanderers fans would turn up on Friday and Sunday. The mens game on Sunday is the "distance derby" Perth v Phoenix

This time will be played about midway between Perth and Wellington. Travelling fans would fill about 2 rows of 1 bay

Don't know why we both with a squad list, if it's not even close to accurate and includes players that have left the country, or have had recent surgery. :woah:

They've done the same with the SFC matches. Men and women both play in Allianz on different days.

Well done :clapping:

We need the Mariners women to draw or beat the Smurfettes and our girls to beat Canberra in the catch-up game

I’m waiting for the club to provide actual updates on Clegg, Gordon, Khamis, etc. :search::search:

Teo Pelliziri seem to have a pipeline to all clubs. Maybe he knows

I guess we was wrong about Robbie Hooker, coming in late into the pre-season with a squad thats probably not on the levels of the Smurfettes and Melbourne Heart but he's brought in a lot of belief to our girls and the results are showing.

Yesterday's win was massive for them and I hope they continue this momentum

Yeah a lot of people scoffed about him coming from an U/12 boys Association team etc etc but as you say he's done a magnificent job with a squad with limited abilities. The club need to lock him in for the medium to long term and we might start attracting quality local players instead of them thumbing their noses at us and joining FC or City.

Of course, we better hope that the club takes our Women's program much more seriously from now own. Because they have completely neglected it since we entered the W-League and we've only had one good season where we signed some US international players but they had to leave after 2/3 of the season.

He had previously coached a premiership winning women's a league team, Canberra I think.

He has also been conducting coaching courses for coaches, the Level 2, 3, 4 stuff.

He certainly has the credentials.

Canberra finished 3rd which was very creditable. He certainly does have runs on the board but I also thought that Kat Smith was doing a decent job so I'm not sure what exactly happened there.
