I'm going to take my kids, but this does feel like it will be one of those games that I will have to describe to them as "character building".

As in "dad, why do we support Everton when they lose to the other lot all the time? "

"Son, it's character building

And they are a bunch of Kopites"

In.

If the “Goals Against” manages to stay in the single digits, it’ll be a win for us lol.

I’m glad there’s alcohol there lol.

Ticket sales have ticked over 4.5k - noting that this doesn't account for Sydney Members, or those with the kids Liberty A-League passes.

7pm kick off still too late for the kiddos who are under 5. But they will watch the first half on tv before they inevitably fall asleep on the couch. Would have been great to go as soft introduction to the derby.

Wife was keen to watch the Women's Wanderers game which she never was before. Effects of the world cup.

It's a 7:45pm KO!  Keep in mind that's similar to the Kick Off times (8pm) for the Women's World Cup - which still did have heaps of kids attending.

lol not my kids hahaha. both wake up at the crack of dawn, and then sleep by 8pm. Going beyond 8pm with them is.... asking for trouble. Every Matildas game my eldest would watch first half and then end up asleep before 2nd half.

Plan is to go at moment, but the 7:45 kick-off isn't great kids are tired day after and they have stuff on Sunday, might end up just me going.

Just take them. You can always send them home at half time!

2-0.

2 great finishes from smurfettes; they just have better team we struggle to get forward and build pressure.

this could be 4 of 5 easily…

56% possession to 44% for us.

12 shots to 1

6 on target to 0

8 corners to 0

When our girls tire it's going to be a massacre unless something drastic changes.

We finally get it in the box, our attacker gets dragged down by the SFC defender who missed the ball, and no call.

SFC player hurt herself in the tangle.

Playing much better at least this half.

I think we just had our first shot on target.

2-0. FT.

Just 2nd best all over the park for the entire game.

Second half was better.

Shouldn't have the 17 year old on the left wing. Subbed off at half time.

With the squad we have, 2-0 loss to a team that have players who have Matildas and fringe Matildas players in their team seems ok.

Caceres is a talented player
