Melbourne City Women vs Wanderers Women 12/11/2023 5:45PM
102megan Posted November 8, 2023 More upsettingly, it's the Westies on their team, that are are going to destroy us. Bryleeh Henry (Penrith) Jessika Nash (Blacktown) Holly McNamara (Ermington) Carns, StringerBellend and mack 3
StringerBellend Posted November 9, 2023 (edited) maybe we can put a 12 year old on in the 92nd minute to break the record three weeks running and distract from the shambles. Although id like to see the two girls get some actual game time rather than 2 mins Edited November 9, 2023 by StringerBellend Sithslayer1991, MartinTyler, 102megan and 3 others 6
102megan Posted November 9, 2023 Apparently Bryleeh Henry isn't playing (knee injury)... so that's good for us (but I also hope she's not out for too long!) Meanwhile, our club still hasn't provided us an update on Melissa Caceres, and the injury she sustained in the match against Wellington...
Unlimited Posted November 12, 2023 On 08/11/2023 at 10:23 AM, SBW said: that's what I thought game 1 but then it was only 2-0, which was better than expected
Unlimited Posted November 12, 2023 1-0 from penalty Pretty cheap penalty but... yeah can't argue about it
Unlimited Posted November 12, 2023 scramble in the box and 2-0 not a lot of pressure on the final shot tbh
102megan Posted November 12, 2023 1st goal scored by a former Wanderer (Rhianna Pollicina). 2nd goal scored by someone from Western Sydney (Holly McNamara) . MartinTyler, mack, StringerBellend and 1 other 4
Unlimited Posted November 12, 2023 2-1 A SCREAMER FROM THIRTY-FIVE YARDS WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE LEAGUE I AM NAMING MY FIRSTBORN SOPHIE Nathg and mack 2
Unlimited Posted November 12, 2023 3-1 tbh good passing move to eventually round the goalkeeper but shoddy work to lose the ball in the first place to allow the break
mack Posted November 12, 2023 McNamara gets her 3rd, and hurts her ankle falling into the goal after crashing into the keeper. 4-1. Was a blatant foul on our keeper from a City player shielding our GK.
102megan Posted November 12, 2023 This is all well and good, but may I once again ask WHERE Wanderers Women are actually playing next weekend..??

mack Posted November 12, 2023 The club said it was moving 'back to Sydney' when the change was announced. So likely it'll just be at Blacktown. Hopefully no-one gets confused by the W-League part of the site showing it still in Bathurst.
Unlimited Posted November 12, 2023 According to X/Twitter, our coach doesn’t even know where the game is Probably will be postponed
StringerBellend Posted November 12, 2023 Surely it will be Wanderers football park. It's not like we don't have enough pitches 102megan 1
BoyFromTheWest Posted November 14, 2023 Not the expected bloodbath - although at one point in thought it was coming. Perhaps there is progress??
102megan Posted November 14, 2023 I'm glad we managed to find our scoring boots (for that match at least..!), but to leak that many goals isn't ideal...! Unlimited and BoyFromTheWest 2
