Clisby is comically bad.

The ball was probably out before Borrello played it back, but to not even require the VAR to check and hopefully not have a good shot of it is terrible. There's no excuse for an attacking player missing an unmarked shot on his preferred foot from 8 yards out.

First 45 of the season...got to give him time....but not a great first impression..

Clisby got done as well.. spun so hard he would have been dizzy..

That wasn't even 'playing out', except maybe it happed after a few short passes. It was just a **** ball from Vidackovic, aimless to nowhere and lumped forward without thought. You might get away with that in the youth comps & NPL but you can't cause your midfield to have to turn & chase, and your fullbacks to have to race back from their upfield position, and leave your central defenders split wide. You either play it short to an open player, or you PUMP IT LONG to their keeper if you have to.

Not much difference from previous seasons for me.

Our press went to sh*te in the last 15. Disjointed and let them play through us with ease. We mixed it up early, some long balls, some playing out from the back. We then reverted to the same predictable style as last year. Sydney we're loving it...

I find it strange that we have the longest pre season in the world and yet we still get players that are not ready to start.

Mum: "So, if a player gets a yellow in the first half and then another one in the second half, does that mean they're off?"

Me: "Yes, two yellow cards anytime during the match and that player is off".

Mum: "Bummer, I was hoping it resets at the half break".

The better team on the night won. Work still to do for Staj. We were'nt flash but we were'nt dross either.

We weren't that bad, but we weren't that good. Let's not forget that East's have had more game time to gel. I'm optimistic we'll improve.
