Quietly optimistic for the 2nd half with Kraev, Antonsson and Mata to come. That was a horrible miss to end the half though.

Are you new to this?

We don't do optimism here my friend

The ball was probably out before Borrello played it back, but to not even require the VAR to check and hopefully not have a good shot of it is terrible. There's no excuse for an attacking player missing an unmarked shot on his preferred foot from 8 yards out.

Our new Korean centre back looked gassed after 10 mins.

First 45 of the season...got to give him time....but not a great first impression..

Clisby got done as well.. spun so hard he would have been dizzy..

Clisby is comically bad.

He needs to send some crosses in ......that's the only time he scores

I was 5 minutes out.

Said we would concede from playing out

That wasn't even 'playing out', except maybe it happed after a few short passes. It was just a **** ball from Vidackovic, aimless to nowhere and lumped forward without thought. You might get away with that in the youth comps & NPL but you can't cause your midfield to have to turn & chase, and your fullbacks to have to race back from their upfield position, and leave your central defenders split wide. You either play it short to an open player, or you PUMP IT LONG to their keeper if you have to.

Anyone got a pic of the tifo, we were underneath it. Was it good?

So is it actually worth bringing Mata on in the second half?

Or would they do it just to keep 10/Paramount happy ?

Definitely not a full stadium !!!, biggest turnout from the Cove I've seen at parra...

Our press went to sh*te in the last 15. Disjointed and let them play through us with ease. We mixed it up early, some long balls, some playing out from the back. We then reverted to the same predictable style as last year. Sydney we're loving it...

WSW....We start the game with a sense of hope......looks like we will leave with a sense of hopelessness....:sorry:

I find it strange that we have the longest pre season in the world and yet we still get players that are not ready to start.

Mum: "So, if a player gets a yellow in the first half and then another one in the second half, does that mean they're off?"

Me: "Yes, two yellow cards anytime during the match and that player is off".

Mum: "Bummer, I was hoping it resets at the half break".

Yeah looks like at this stage of their career, the smurfs picked the better option.

Red card to Burgess. Stoppage time left to equalise.

We weren't that bad, but we weren't that good. Let's not forget that East's have had more game time to gel. I'm optimistic we'll improve.
