Out as up the coast...but actually wish I was there. Hope a decent number turn out as after the Adelaide efforts it is deserved.

Maybe...just maybe..a decent result here...and we can get on a roll into 2025...and see the attendances tick up a bit...that would be good to see eh.

Just sort the defense out though lol

Germain, Jakolis, and Drew is a front line that will probably score against our defence, particularly with so many injuries.

Still, Milanovic should have fun against Walter Scott. Uskok and Jurman can probably handle the physicality of Antonsson but will struggle with the pace and movement of Borello and Sapsford.

Just get Borello and Mianovic to rile Uskok and he might get physical (2 yellows or a straight red would be good)

With Scicluna (presumably) out for a while, this is probably the best time for Mata to slot into the team to partner up with Brillante. Not sure on the Cleur replacement though, maybe Cameron?

Mata will be hacked off the park, with that dick Germain whacking his ankles every chance he gets, they can play football sometimes, but they can't hide their thug nature which will come out.

Victory's red card to Machach last night was similar to Germain killing off Antonsson's season last year (for which he got off with a yellow). I have no hope of the officials maintaining control.

He was more spritely then……,.,with no A league officials or A league VAR 😔 in the premier

In! Our group will be 5 💪

Hoping the momentum continues. I would love to see us make progress this season. IE. A positive top 6 position as opposed to scrapping thru with little hope of a finals spot.

I think you'll see Priestman starting alongside Brillante. Not Mata.

Not sure that Mata is good enough to replace Scicluna

Hopefully good enough to replace a one legged sciluna or we really did do badly.

Badolato and Barrie are the only outfielders in the squad who haven't been used at all in the league, even as an unused sub.

Unless they dip into the NPL squad their options will be Barrie, Badolato or Holliday.

It's political correctness gone mad... Woke, nonsense how can these so called women possibly adjudicate football to the high levels that men do?

What happens if one of them decides to discuss shopping?

Lmao the Sean Dyche meme "Utter woke nonsense"

Jokes aside though I am more worried about VAR doing another howler than the ref on the field.

Don't care who refs as long as she/he can see Germain tread on our player and recognise when the ball fully crosses the goal line. Another repeat of the infamous Bulls match might just finally undo me with match officials.

With the run of injuries we're having, do you think Staj will go with 3 at the back and play 3-5-2 formation?

Time for Mata to step up and earn the $'s he's being paid.

It’s certainly worth considering a change of formation but Staj wouldn’t do it to include Mata, so I don’t think it’ll happen now. Staj likes to play his 442 and isn’t afraid to play youth players, so I think he’ll do that as a preferred alternative, even if it means trying to put square pegs in round holes.

There’s also been a level of improvement these last few games. It’s like the players are now understanding their rolls in the system and Staj won’t want to lose that progress. He’ll want to build on it.

We don't have enough fit centrebacks to play 3 at the moment

I think with Cleur suspended with 5 yellows and a hamstring injury, Simmons will start. Priestman will most likely start to replace Scicluna.

Last week Stajcic played Adelaide with a stronger finishing team as he noted that they faded in the second half against the Smurfs plus the need for rotation with upcoming games as follows. We play Melb Victory away on the 4th Jan then get a rest (bye). The next game is Perth away on the 14th Jan, followed by the Mariners at home on the 17th Jan. The next game is Auckland at home on the 26th Jan. The last game in January is Brisbane Roar away on the 31st which is follow by the last officially scheduled Sydney Derby for the season

Against these Bullsh1tters, get on top early especially with their tackling being a bit on the slower side for this league. Getting past Kurto will be the more difficult task.

Simmons injured. Won't be back until March at the earliest. Cameron is likely to come in the starting line up and has previously featured in the line up.

Staj could throw Mata in the midfield because of how defensive the Cows play but with that hack Brattanm, Priestmann may be better for physical presence. Priestmann has to step up now Scicluna is out.
