So Davilla and the ex-Mariner.

Plus Martis can't play after the red card.

There’s a women’s match before this one right? Guess I’ll have to get my pre-match meal around 4pm so I can watch both games

Its not just any "women's match" either, its the Sydney Derby!

If you think we still have any chance of winning this game given our current performances, wait until you hear who the referee is.

The return of Chris Beath...

So Macarthur with their defensive wall.... against us who aren't sure what the plan is....

Me CR job is on the line after the midweek game.

Regardless I want us to win to really get going but if we don't CR leaves and bring Merrick in to steady the ship.

Can we play at a decent level for more the 20mins, don't know.

Hard to call this one but CR needs a decent home win.

My punt 1-1.

It will be a rare win

Could be a bit blue if we don't win, and not cause it will be Friesian.

Please can we start playing from the kick off instead of time wasting the first 45 minutes ffs

I mean I start cooking my steak before kick off. But sure I could probably do that

Just got a feeling about this, after Apia debacle my gut tells me we are going to absolutely hammer them, dunno why, could be last night's curry though.

Are you suggesting we well tear right through them, like your last night's curry. I fear whoever comes after you for the "toilet seat"

It's called delusional optimism....we've all suffered at one time or another...:ninja:

This will be the game that gives CR a three week stay of execution. We will then lose to the Mariners, City and the Jets before a scrappy win against Western Utd gives him the chance to say 'turned the corner' in a press conference and gets another 3 week extension.

Seriously no excuses now, we're playing an injury depleted side who had to play extra time mid week. We have a full team of fresh legs with no injuries. We should win this 2 or 3 nil  or more.

Still burning from the midweek loss and the only solace I have is that last time we lost to an NPL opponent we went on to win the ACL, so although we cannot do that this time, perhaps a Plate and a toilet seat will suffice.  On another positive we got bundled out of the Cup by playing a second string side and they got bundled out playing a near full strength one so a few injuries and a red card should assist us here.  So there is two positives that maybe we can hold on to.  Was never in the CR out camp, not because I think he is a good manager, but because I cant be bothered going through another rebuild but now I really cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel, maybe the next few weeks can change my mind.

But we've just proven that we're good at losing to an injury depleted side who had to play extra time mid week.

If we're lucky the game will get abandoned at ht due to rain/lightning when we're only 2 goals down.

But what's the plan to open their defence wall? They only beat Mariners by having a defensive wall and slowing the game down. They have injuries but still have Craig Noone and we haven't figured how to open defences either.
