Win and its a 3 point gap. Lose and it's 9.  A real '6 pointer'  and a 'must win' if ever there was one.

Team line up:

No O'Doherty and McDonald probably chucked a hissy fit to make sure he got his special 77 number.

Who's that reserve keeper?

My prediction. We lose 6-2 and CR sacked after the game, with JPdM installed as coach until the end of the season.

That's American Singer-Songwriter Norah Jones. She's signed to the club for one game and will be performing during the game.

I hate to say it but I would like for this to happen. But, for the remainder of the season, the likes of Haliti or Zwaanswijk step up to the role as manager and then if they are good at the role, sign them full time.

CR's sister in law from Swansea.

Robinson needs to make a clear statement of intention...That no one is safe in getting a start.

For mine the statement that should be made...drop McGowan and make Gordon captain.

McGowan has shown his own performances haven't been start worthy let alone captaining the team.

Make Gordon and Natta/Tass the staring centre back pairing.

Just a heads up that tomorrow night Margush and Redmayne will both be wearing shirt number 0 as part of the NSW Roads "Towards Zero" campaign to have 0 deaths on roads.

The zero may also mean the amount of goals we could be scoring in this upcoming Sydney Derby or the amount of points we'll receive by the end of the game.

I would never like for a defeat to happen. I think we would all much rather we won tomorrow and won well and see if CR can do something with the rest of the season, certainly my preference.

If we get bent over and ****ed hard then yeah..might be nothing CR can do then.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I would always love to see a win against the Smurf, no matter what.

Personally, I just feel we are finally witnessing the true antics of Robinson's coaching skills to the point where if he was shown the door, I wouldn't be upset or disappointed about it at all.

I honestly would like for the club to sign someone local as the new manager when the time comes as they have signed three foreigners (Gombau, Babbel and Robinson) and they have been disappointing.

The 7 stages of grief
  • Shock and denial. This is a state of disbelief and numbed feelings.
  • Pain and guilt. ...
  • Anger and bargaining. ...
  • Depression. ...
  • The upward turn. ...
  • Reconstruction and working through. ...
  • Acceptance and hope.

I think the life of a wanderers fan for the past 4 seasons has been to go through these seven steps each week in the  lead up to the next game, until we are out of the running for the finals at which point we just get stuck on points three and four. This week I have managed to break through to point 5.

My upward turn: CR only joined the club 6 weeks out from the start of the season. By this time all the decent local players on the market had already been snapped up. He was stuck pretty much with what we already had, a near bottom of the table squad. Not to mention that he was clearly instructed to run the rule over our youth talent before bringing in any new players. So with very short notice he was able to bring in four players that were decent at least on paper. We have not been a club that has been able to attract the best available unsigned talent. I am curious as to whether CR, if he is still with us in the off season, can change our fortune and snatch some of the better players on the market from the grasp of our competitors.

Is it just me or has the club advertising/social media about the game a touch desperate and over the top?

Desperation and a touch of deflection me thinks. COYW

Well we won't be seeing Chris Beath with the whistle in our game. He just gave Victor Sanchez his second yellow in Adelaide.

I think they are concerned that the smurfs are going to outnumber us by a huge number.

Game day, pivotal day in the season you feel and perhaps one of those days you look back on in the future...anything could happen..

Will CR even still be the manager come late evening, lots on the line...

Lets just win, try and moved forward, minimal drama...this is what I hope. But it could be something quite different today. The natives are restless.

Nullify Ninkovic (yes I know easier said than done)or hope he pulls a hammy early otherwise we could be brutally dissected and demolished as per the 1st half of our last outing.

I hope he plays the players who give a ****, although the worry with that is our backline will be a bunch of youngsters

This is my favourite post all season. Don't know about moving on to point five but the rest is gold :D

Not if we kill him first...a ref willing to let a few hard tackles fly would be appreciated.
