Our current defensive line-up is going to kill us this season.

Speed and Harper really pumping up Macarthurs Rose....now a "cult figure".......after not even half of one game in.....lol

He does qualify, he's played for both Blacktown clubs.

I don’t love 5 at the back and 2 deep lying midfielders.

I do love Tass and Ibini.

The formation doesn’t work and we need 1 more man in the front half if we’re ever going to do anything other than look semi dangerous on the counter.

PS - Margush is very loud

Can someone explain to me why I can hear f'n cow bells but no drums?

Some new faces but we still look like the same as last season.

We're lucky that Najjar is far from player you'd want as your central attacking midfielder. But he'll punish us if we keep failing to hold onto possession.

Second best all over the pitch at the moment.

We can't pass out of the back, we can't hold it in attack, we can't press them because our fullbacks can't stay up the pitch in transition and our central midfield isn't providing anything good for Ibini to run onto.

Muller should be on half time or very early second half.

So your saying we've improved from last season.

Decent play from Russell. Cox straight down keepers throat....

Decent closing 4 or 5 mins, mainly via Russell, but pretty average stuff really wasn't it.

Is it just me or does Lachlan Rose look like Matt Simon?

This yes

I would of started Muller with Cox on the bench with Ibini or Troisi up front.

Cox has to be careful already on a yellow and the ref spoke to him after as well

Tbh we look a little bit more organised than last season. Still, plenty of work to be done. We need a striker with pace.

Seems like an even game so far (except that VAR overturned):

SHOTS ON GOAL
Wanderers: 5
Bulls 8

SHOTS ON TARGET
Wanderers: 2
Bulls 1

POSSESSION
Wanderers: 46%
Bulls: 54%

PASSES
Wanderers: 226
Bulls: 257

PASS ACCURACY
Wanderers: 80%
Bulls: 86%

Clear handball given by ref then overturned by VAR lol.

He has his arms down by his side then moves them into his chest to block the ball.

If that were Schwegler or DG it'd be a clear pen and yellow.

Confirmed by my niece and nephew who were in Section 211 on the goal line.

VAR is renowned WSW hater Kris Griffiths-Jones

F'n Fox Sports and mass media searching for fairytales. Lachlan Rose...Pfft. Matt Simon and Ryan Grants is love child.

Take a drink every time Speedy gushes over Lachlan Rose. You’ll be plastered within 10 minutes. Speed is an absolute pleb.

He made a dumb challenge around the edge of our area then later booted the ball away trying to lob Federici even though the whistle had obviously gone. If it were a foul against us instead of for us he'd be off.

Robinson needs to make it clear we're not going to get a thing out of the refs unless it's stonewall, and they will punish us for the slightest infractions (eg, Cox getting carded for diving after tripping over the ball/his feet) and they need to be smarter.

Cox needed to nail that cut back before half-time. Instead he slammed it the one place the keeper could save it.

Speedy must be watching another game Rose does one thing and instant socceroos prospect hahaa. More worried on Puyo and that number 14 of theirs really getting in behind us. Ziggy doing alright.

Don't understand why Ibini started looked gassed after 10 minutes. Should have started Muller. Russell doing Tate Russell things very good game by him so far
