This is part of the reason why those missed calls on Simon are so damaging. Instead of being down a player and De Silva having to play one out, he's creating trouble with Nisbet, a tiny kid who would almost certainty get taken off in a reshuffle at a man down. It also means the Mariners can press us much higher up the park.

Short corners why????

Kamau going up front.

I still have no idea why we're sticking with this formation. The only width we get is from the fullbacks and we're now 75 minutes into the game and they're being pinned back because the Mariners wide players are staying high up the park.

In a period of the game we could desperately use someone to control the midfield a little, Muller has gone missing

This game blows.

Good to see, prefer him to Yeboah.

I just hope we can hang on for the nil all draw, as we have no attack.

Problem is this formation doesn't suit anyone in the attacking group from being that central attacker. We end up with Baccus & Dorrans in the middle but they don't want to go too far forward because that isn't their play, and Muller is meant to be helping create overloads on the wings so he doesn't stay inside, and the forward are forwards and aren't meant to drop back that much.

We are good in defence...but terrible in the final third.....tbh we need a proper striker.

Staying central all the time or not doesn't preclude him from putting his foot on it and using his experience.

I don't like this formation either but not everything can be blamed on it.

I've never seen a team get the ball stuck under their feet so much, and most aren't from Yeboah. What's going on?
