I meant he may not be playing

Gotcha.

I dont listen to Sloppy Stoppage time at all. Was the suggestion due to fatigue or his injury flairing back up?

It was mentioned in passing by a player manger who regularly appears on the show. He didn't elaborate

True but I have been saying this over the last games Yeboah is the clear target because we know what he can do at his best but Meier and Duke have also been quiet ineffective in attack due to our poor possession and lack of a number 10.

Now I know alot of people here will say otherwise because hey 4 goals from Duke and all the hard work off the ball. Yes that's true he has 4 goals on times we have actually been able to get up the park and he tracks back and tries to make something happen. But the ineffectiveness of Meier, Yeboah and LIMITED effectiveness of Duke in attack stems from our midfield unable to push forward due to the lack of a number 10 that Babbel likes to play.

So I don't put all the blame on performance on Yeboah some of it stems from the team performance on the ball.

Your not wrong. But it's Yeboah's touches when he has gotten the ball that people are lamenting. With our midfield and all of Duke, Meier, Adam, Muller and Yeboah, Yeboah has been the least effective thus far.

Gloomy looking outside, it must be game day. Could be an open game depending if both play back 3 setup, quality at finishing or lack of a CAM might be the difference 3-2 win.

Anyone else think it might be worth putting swegls at 10 role?  as he is our most creative midfielder compared to forwards playing unnatural setup.

Depends if the shift just moves the problem. I'm sure he could probably do it, but who's going to enforce in his role.

Im out for tonight..the lads away for the weekend and feeling a bit crook.

Should be a decent game and a win without me in attendance.

Big storm rolling in to Parra with plenty of lightning. Wonder whether it’ll impact the W-League game as they’d have to postpone rather than just delay when it’s a double header.

Jurman zeigler sulivan odoerty when as mentioned team is fit no injuries, it's an idea probably Babbel already has though about and I wouldn't be surprised if it happens at some point if no fluency is found.

All we need to do to break the drought and lift the water restrictions is to have WSW play every second day😄

Don't think Newcastle have even had a shot on target so far. We're dominating them.

I really don't think this is going to last long before it gets postponed.

Wow literally just after I posted that it got postponed.

Is it likely to restart,  it's not too bad at Sevo at the moment?

Looks like they are setting it for a 6pm resumption. There's still about an hour and 15 minutes left of the W-League game which would finish up at 7:15, which isn't really enough time to do a proper warmup for the A-League.

The A-League game looks like it could be a delay to 7:45 or 8pm.

Wonder if there will be anything left of zeigler once mcclaren is done with him?

Wonder if MB has figured out that large goal poaching specialists probably need to be played as central striker to be effective?

Wonder if grozos has figured out that you need to move without the ball to make it work as a no 10?

Wonder if we can draw more than the 17k the king's game got so that sokkah twitter can fire back in it's moronic code war with basketball?

Interesting times and a pivotal game for our season I reckon.

A-League game scheduled for an 8:05pm kick-off.

Assuming there's no further delay and the W-League does kickoff at 6pm again.

Took 6 matches for the “football god” to be relegated to the bench. There’s your wake up call, clock is ticking.

City: Maclaren, Noone, Cabrera, Rostyn Griffiths, Brillante, Genreau, Jamieson, Delbridge, Good, Galloway, Bouzanis. Subs: Glover, Berenguer, Atkinson, Wales, Luna, Najjarine, Abdualhi

WSW: Duke, Kamau, Yeboah, Muller, Sullivan, Schwegler, Wilmering, Ziegler, McGowan, Georgevski, Lopar. Subs: Tass, Meier, Baccus, Elrich, Russell, Adam, Suman.

Looks like a basic 4-3-3 with a diamond midfield. Unless Wilmering is going to play as a left sided central defender, which case it might be Kamau LB, and 5-3-2

He is not playing as a safety precaution. There is a chance of lightning and he is too tall😁

We needed to sign someone like noone to cross it to him.

Gleeful that our largely ineffective striker has been dropped? You better believe it.

I don’t care what your name is, what you’ve achieved or what part of the world you’re from; if you’re a striker, score goals. Even Pio had 2 by the new year.
