Was thinking about it today at work,

Where does this fixture rate in the top games in the A-League,

Obviously number 1 is the Sydney Derby, then the Melbourne Derby and then the Big Blue
I would almost go as far as saying that Western Sydney vs Melbourne Victory is bigger than Victory vs Adelaide and the F3 Derby

I remember seeing comments on the esfc forum that 2 of 3 NT members rate Wanderers a bigger game than that of esfc now no doubt due the battle in the stands

No doubt burnt Fapman and his gay boys to the bone

Given the success of the teams in recent years I'd say this is as big as their big blue clash without the history

In many way I look more forward to this game then the derby

Mvfc on and off the field are superior to the muppets from the east

I think I look forward to our home game against Victory more as well...certainly off the field. esfc aren't even a challenge.

On the field obviously I would rather beat the smurfs.

The derby is the derby, nothing will beat that.

Against East Sydney there is a feeling of pure hatred and dislike for everything about the club, the area, and what it stands for.
But Victory has a different feeling to it,
Whilst with Victory there's a sense of respect in which you know that their club is the biggest in the country and is the benchmark for football in Australia.

However any chance to win a pissing war with them and to assert dominance over the mexicans should be taken with great pride,

Remember the good old days. When we used to beat mvc every match hope history's repeating itself

Feels like forever since games attended.. have some lost time to make up for. Everyone should load up on pre workout before they head in... gotta get the place rocking! Like the energy at gosford.. except sustained for 90.

We can beat them, they've come off the back of some uninspiring performances - just gotta keep the pressure on them.

I love it when they crack, the millisecond the match isn't going his way Berisha wants to fight people just like he did last week.

Cage fight. Make it happen.

I may be wrong, but Shamrani is a c**t all the time. Berisha, just when he's on the field, and even then it's not all the time. he's just a f**king tough competitor. Love to hate him though.

Oh, and +4 in. Not missing this one.

definitely bigger than the F3 derby, but I don't think as big as Victory v Adelaide

I think they... really don't like each other

Us v Victory is more respectful competition and the battle of the active support groups

Hopefully the crowd is pumping!

Even with no RBB and only 10k there last week Little Gazmon inside Mrs. Gazmon's tum was kicking along, they were reacting to the jeers and cheers of the crowd. Brilliant to watch. Can't wait until the RBB is back!

Sydney derby is top, then Melbourne derby.

Spectacle wise it's WS vs MV, no other interstate game is bigger.

'Big Blue' is a waste of hype.

its only the oldest rivalry because it was the first game wasn't it?
