I don't feel sorry for any professional footballer who has to be at the airport at 4am to fly business class to the Arabs to play some preseason games.

Agreed......

I used to dream of playing the professional big time..... but never made it past a muddy pitch non league North of England level where the changing room was often your car  

Being flown business class to Dubai for playing football, which is a job you get paid for... yes please.

Must say...... had some ******* great post game drinking sessions when I played mind followed by some horrendous takeaways    The professional lads can't do that.

Find it quite funny we are the only team that has gone overseas two years in a row for pre-season. First to Asia and now by private invitation to Dubai... Where back in Australia Adelaide and Melbourne City just met in Alice Springs -.-

I thought Perth have gone to South Africa twice in a row?

 

Dugouts in an indoor court and we can't even get them in our stadium

We had them for ACL. It's the FFA who don't allow dugouts. From memory one of the teams stadium had some they couldn't use (Nix?)

WTF are we doing in the Middle East this time of year ? Obviously it's been booked in for a while but it doesn't make sense to have a preseason camp in such a hot place .
