Stadium: Armed Forces Officers Club Stadium

So practically playing at Parra...

It's an officers club though.

So less firepower than at Parra.

Hahaha I thought this was some sort of joke, East Riffa referring to the East Sydney Riff Raff who think they are Australia's biggest club, they have enough problems being the biggest club in there own city!

The Riff in my mind always refers to Penriff, so logically playing at 'East Riff' must mean we are playing at Kingswood or Werro, right?

Very common term in and around Penrith. You clearly need to purchase an 'I ♥ Penriff' T-shirt, like so many others have.

There I was about to go off on a hyperbolic farrago about East Riff being Kingswood and I see my learned brethren in the forum have pre-empted me.

Well in lads, well in

If you want to farewell the team, there will a special appearance of the WSW today at a Greek festival in Parra. That's what the web site suggests anyway.

Admin, my apologies if this is the wrong spot to post this.

I'm pretty sure they've already left

That's what I thought too! What are the Greeks going on about?? And the A-League app on my iphone suggests that they are leaving today while the photo suggests something different. Oh well, I ll head there anyway, as my other half is Greek.

Anyone know why they didn't just fly there directly from China? Seems a bit loopy.... literally.

The theory is twofold.

One: in order to get a travel allowance from AFC for their Champions League game in China, they had to return home (thus completing the return trip).

Two: the Young Socceroos in our squad had to come home to meet up with the national team.

I would say most likely #1.

doubt it'll be streamed.

I also think Popa will use this time to give most of the young boys a run.

Don't forget there will be 3 games (3 teams in the tournament), so first strong side, second young boys and final game (assume is a final), strong team again
