GunnerWanderer Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Yep agreed. And sadly I think many others are in the boat as well. My brother in law said he won't renew next year he has 3 little ones and it's just a royal pain. In the pre season I remember the club pushing the 'people who are loyal' will be looked after when wanderland ver 2 opens at parra. Reality is I think there will be ample memberships for people to sign up too when we move back, I don't think people need to be worried if they don't maintain membership. Given the atrocities and hardships of SOP perhaps out memberships will plateau for next few years, I doubt we crack 20k and given the new parra it should increase to say 22 or 23 in terms of capacity id imagine anyone who has never had memberships will be able to get one. StringerBellend Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 I'm going to guess a lot of Our member no shows are kids or families with kids. Every game has been a 750 and takes an eternity to get back from SOP. My little ones ticket has gone unused quite a bit this year, it's just too hard. 5pm kick off at parra with a wander kick afterwards and still home at a reasonable hour v getting home at 11pm for a game that kicks off after he is usually in bed I'm tempted not to bother getting him one next year, which just the thought of I find sad We're in the same boat. The little one is in bed at 7.30 most nights, even earlier sometimes. Hard to expect him to last even until 7.50 and then through the game/travel. We have 2 5PM home kick offs this year, one is at Campbelltown... hardly family friend for our club. Yes so 1 of the two isn't included in their season ticket anyway (fortunately they have done kids free for that one, no way I'm paying a season ticket for him and then paying extra for one of the few games he can go to) As I say I probably won't bother next year for him just get supporters membership for him and buy tickets when I take him, won't have a reserved seat near us, but that's hardly going to be an issue given the number of empty seats around us Obviously next year he'll be a year older but that then counts out late Sunday games (with school) I'm going to guess a lot of Our member no shows are kids or families with kids. Plus it's atrocious to get in or out of SOP. Will be interesting when we face the CCM at Spotless on Sunday the 12 February at 5.00pm. Hopefully they will put on wander and kick too, I'm going to stage a reenactment of Buluts celebration Prydzopolis, theguyyouwishyouwere and Gazmon 3

nmh94 Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 First round under 10k average, some disappointing attendances there Yep. Ours was always going to be low due to the match not being included in memberships (I'm well aware of why). The real disappointment was Friday. Sydney FC being undefeated simply must be doing better than that for the sake of the league. I have been a defender of the Nix in the league too but frankly their attendances continue to be nothing short of terrible. They are tracking for their worst year attendance wise in their history. City and Perth, meh. Expected attendances (given a Thursday game). Prydzopolis and wendybr 2
