Real test for the boys and an indicator of our ACL prospects....

I don't know what time the match is on, the club hasn't bothered answering me. Those times are just what time I think they are on. Someone in China told me 8am but that seems unlikely.

this isn't the team that played ccm this year is it?

I think that's Guangzhou Evergrande. Different team.

Via Facebook & Twitter, kick off was at 12:30pm.

Not holding out much hope for updates at all, except for maybe when goals are scored.

Go Wanderers!!

Half an hour into the match:

GOAL!! 1-0 WANDERERS 32' Santalab. Good build up play by Lo in the midfield. Crisp finish from the new boy #WanderTour2013 #GRFVWSW

This guy could be interesting. How sweet it would be to see him bury one in the derby. Just needs to learn the fist pump and he could be a ready made cult hero replacement for a certain Cro slaphead we all know and love.

What a weird starting time. Totally caught me off guard but it would've been great on TV. Lunch and football. Anyway Santalab you beast

Santalab & Juric seem to be adding alot to this attack. This seems like it will be a great year

Its hard to foresee exactly how we will stack up against teams this year..However from what I have seen, and based on the strengths and weaknesses of our team last year..I would argue that we have a stronger team this year in many respects, so that alone I think gives us much to look forward to...The other bonus is we dont seem to listen to the PRESSURE word very much..instead we adopt the PASSION philosophy...and I think thats why we look at ourselves differently..thats why we loved DINO, not so much for his two goals, but his unrelenting and undying passion that he bought to the game..

Dino is currently playing with ZavrÄ in the Slovenian PrvaLiga.

He has scored 2 goals in his first 3 games apparently

I think we have a stronger attack and a similar midfield. If some of the young guys like Perkatis and Appiah step up then it will be an even more potent midfield. Our defence is a strong as last season but perhaps lacks some depth.

I would love to watch how fluid our football looks right now... sounds very positive and promising but you can only tell from watching the game really..

I've been overseas and have just got back... has anyone been to any preseason games and seen how Santalab/Juric fit in to the system?

13 mins ago via Twitter: GOAL!!! 51' Haliti scores one early in the second half. Ball through from Mooy.

2-0 I believe

Edit: Another one: GOAL!!! 58' Haliti gets his second after through ball from Heffernan. Wanderers are up 3-0

FYI

Guangzhou are coached by Eriksson, have Eddie Bosnar and Ryan Griffiths on their books (although I'm pretty sure Griffiths plays for their second division side) and are sitting 5th in the CSL.

Having said that who knows what kind of side they put out for a friendly

Still that makes this performance sound reasonably decent at the very least

Sounds like we're making a lot of chances. Our attack is looking to be deadly this season.

Looking forward to seeing some highlights.

Surely Guangzhou must be playing their B team? But our attack is totally different when you have strikers who can score and create :D (gets ready for Dino lovers to abuse).

By the sounds of it we've had as many through-balls lead to goals in this game as we did all of last season, great sign

This isn't Guangzhou Evergrande.

Edit: Wrong about division they were in.
